This is the Core of the Chapter Golf and Life Skill Training Programs, conducted on Tuesday and Thursday evenings throughout the summer months.
  Outreach Programs
The focus is on developing Fundamentals of Golf along with an introduction to Life Skills to Youth Servicing Agencies..
  Individual Golf Instruction

  Instructor Certification
Volunteer and Instructor Certification classes begin long before the first of our students hit the driving range.

The Junior Advisory Board consists of those participants identified for their leadership or leadership potential.
The First Tee Life Skills Experience

The First Tee Life Skills Experience is one of the unique features that differentiates The First Tee from many other successful junior golf programs.  Through the Life Skills Experience, participants learn valuable lessons about the importance of maintaining a positive attitude; how to make decisions by thinking about the possible consequences and how to define and set goals from the golf course to everyday life.
The First Tee Certification Process

The First Tee wants everyone who completes The First Tee Experience to have acquired basic golf skills and to be able to demonstrate certain fundamental life skill concepts – such as interpersonal communication and the importance of rules and etiquette.
The First Tee Coach

The First Tee Coach Program is an educational training program that prepares staff and volunteers at Chapters of The First Tee to deliver The First Tee Life Skills Experience, which includes the TARGET program, as well as the Par, Birdie, Eagle and Ace levels of certification.
Assistant Coach Training
The First Tee Assistant Coach Training for individuals who want to be more involved with the ongoing coaching and mentoring of The First Tee participants at the Chapter level but may not be able to spend the time required to become recognized as a The First Tee Coach.
